Signing into SSO Aconex
Troubleshooting Guide for SSO Aconex - Kane
- We have enabled SSO for Kane users on Aconex, if an employee faces issue with signing in: First thing we want to check if they are the member of the security Group. The security Groups for Kane and Arete are respectively:
- If they are not the member of their Respective security Groups, Make them the member and to do instant update for new changes, jump on the below server: ADFS01 (It is the server that is responsible to check the request against a list of systems and applications that the user is approved to use within the AD or Azure AD (now known as Entra ID). Login using the admin Credentials.
- Run the application: Azure AD connect by double clicking on it> then hit on Configure
- Next, select the option Refresh Directory Schema to update the changes and Click Next. It will then ask you to enter your credentials. Please note the Credentials are your normal login and not admin. For Example - In my instance it will be vratta@kane.com.au and Authenticate yourself from your MFA app and then Hit Next.
- It will then start enforcing the changes you made in terms of Group member and then you could jump on the user laptop- it will then pick up Microsoft credentials and user should be all good to sign in with Aconex.
