How to sync Job files to my pc?
Step 1: Sign in to Microsoft 365 by google.
Open your web browser and go to the Microsoft 365 login page.
Enter your username and password to sign in to your Microsoft 365 account.
Step 2: Access OneDrive
After logging in, click on the "Apps" option on the left-hand side of the screen.
From the list of apps, click on "OneDrive."
Step 3: Select the File to Sync
Navigate to the folder or file you want to sync to your computer.
Click on the file to select it.
Step 4: Initiate Sync
With the file selected, click on the "Sync" icon.
A prompt may appear asking for permission to sync with OneDrive. Make sure to tick "Always allow" and then click "Open Microsoft OneDrive."
Step 5: Confirm Sync
After clicking "Open Microsoft OneDrive," a pop-up window should appear confirming that the syncing process has started.
Verify that the pop-up confirms the file is being synced.
Step 6: Verification
Once the sync process is initiated, you can verify that it's working correctly by checking the OneDrive folder in your File Explorer.
The file you selected should begin downloading to your computer.
Step 6.5: Troubleshooting
If the file does not start downloading as expected, follow these steps:
Go to the Windows Task Manager.
Scroll down to find "OneDrive" in the list of processes.
Select "OneDrive" and click on "End task" to force close it.
Once OneDrive is closed, try syncing your files again by repeating the previous steps from Step 4 onwards.
By following these additional troubleshooting steps, you can resolve issues if the file does not start downloading after initiating the sync process.
Step 7: Double-Check File Explorer
Open File Explorer on your computer.
Navigate to the location where your OneDrive files are stored.
Verify that the files you selected are downloading and syncing properly.
It’s important to understand that all job folders will be under the kane.com.au as shown in the picture below.
Step 8: Troubleshooting
If the files are not downloading as expected, ensure that you are signed in correctly to OneDrive.
